Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No, we do not require your name or contact information to generate quotes. The calculator only needs six facts: your gender, when you were born, the coverage sum you're interested in, your desired term, your overall health, and tobacco use. Those six answers are sufficient to return rates. Information like your name, address and detailed medical records is requested only if you decide to apply for coverage.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They represent what each carrier is quoting for the risk tier you reported. Your final premium will be set by the carrier once underwriting is finished, which may confirm the class, improve it, or move you to a different tier. The material on this site is for reference only and should not be interpreted as a contract or a guarantee of any particular rate.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter the carrier you prefer and move forward. The application stays on the carrier's encrypted system and is pre-filled using your answers from the quote tool. You can save your progress, come back later, and electronically sign all documents. Susman Insurance Agency (License 0B75129, California) is the licensed agent overseeing your application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the particular carrier, the amount of coverage, and your specific health information. Certain carriers labeled Immediate coverage are able to authorize applications immediately for those who qualify; your quote will specify whether an exam is required, conditionally required, or not necessary.
Is a longer term better?
Align your term with the years when that income is essential to your household. A mortgage might be paid off in twenty years; kids become independent around the same time. Longer terms cost more per month but keep your rate predictable for more decades. Our quote tool lets you check 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year options side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
Absolutely not. Our quote functionality does not ask for contact information. We do not buy, sell, or trade visitor data with anyone. Our measurement system is fully privacy-respecting without cookies. Check the privacy page for a full accounting of what information is collected and who collects it.
